30 Days bit trial

Try a Bit offers an optional 30 Day Trial on all used Horse Bits.

Applies to all bits marked as ´Trial Only´ 

30 Day Trial for used bits allows the customer to use the bit on their horses. Normal wear and tear is allowed and the bits are in ´second hand´ condition. Please note these are used bits that are not for sale and must be returned. If you like the bit you can purchase a new one from us. 

How do I trial a used bit?

1. Visit the Trial Bits page by clicking the button below:

2. Add the bit you want to trial to your cart.

3. Complete the checkout and Done :)

Note: You will be sent a '30 Day Bit Trial' invoice for the Bit Price, plus postage.

The trial bit will be  posted to you. You will be notified of a Tracking Number. The 30 Day Trial commences from dispatch of the bit.


How much does it cost?

When checking out you will be charged the full price of the selected bit, this will be held as a bond. At the end of the 30-Day Trial, you will have to return the bit within the 30 days for a refund of the purchase price less the $50 trialling fee.

Refund Example: For a $130 bit you receive $80 refunded, with $50 charged as a rental fee. 


Conditions

The bit is the property of Try a Bit. If the bit is not returned to Try a Bit before the end of the 30 Day Trial Period, then the customer will be charged $50 extra for another 30 days, this process will be repeated until the customer returns the bit to us. If the customer keeps the trial bit for longer than 3 months, then the bit shall then become the property of the customer and the customer will forfeit the eligible refund.

Please take care of the bit, as it is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the bit is kept in good condition throughout the trial period and thereafter until the final value is paid, the customer is also responsible that the bit is kept safe from theft and loss, as if you cannot return the bit within the trial period then you will forfeit any refund.

It is recommended that the bits are returned via a recordable postal facility as Try a Bit cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in the post when being returned

The 30 Day Trial Period will start from the day the bit gets dispatched to the customer's address. The customer will receive a dispatch notification by email.
