The 20mm barrel in the centre of the mouthpiece of this Bombers bit limits the nutcracker action and spreads the pressure over a larger area of the tongue and lessens pressure on the bars.
The barrel allows for independent action on each rein.
The loose rings keep the bit mobile in the horse's mouth, allowing an immediate release of pressure when rein aids cease, and encourage the horse to gently mouth the bit.
The blue sweet iron mouthpiece from Bombers Bits oxidises easily, creating a warm, sweet taste that promotes salivation and acceptance of the bit.
Please note that the blue will fade with use.
