Bomber Mchardy- Hanging Cheek
A horse shaking its head when bit pressure is applied or its tongue trying to escape the bit are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue. With this in mind the McHardy was created, it has a medium port creating space for the tongue relieving pressure. The Buster Roller in the middle increases creates a pressure point to help the rider use a lighter aid.
The Hanging cheek helps to relieve some bar pressure, and adds some poll pressure, this helps lower the horses head.
This bit is a great option for a horse that is strong but sensitive, it can help the rider sit the horse back without having to use a too bigger aid and is still soft enough that the horse will not back off the bit or stop with the bit pressure.
