Bomber Ported Barrel - 2 1/2 Ring
The Ported Barrel creates space for the tongue with it’s port, the barrel joint allows for individual action of each side. The Ported Barrel is a great option for a tongue sensitive horse that doesn’t like a mullen (like a happy tongue) or is working at a higher level where a more subtle action is required.
The Ported Barrel does relieve some bar pressure through the lifting action of the arms when the contact is engaged.
The 2 1/2 Ring allows for greater control and leverage. The Blue sweet iron oxidises with use.
