The Inno Sense Mullen is a straight bar that slightly bends forward. This mouthpiece is fabricated of synthetic material. The bit has a rigid core that makes the mullen bar not flexible but the material around it still gives the bit a soft touch.
The Baby Swales is a mix between a double bridle and a Pelham. It has the effect of a double bridle but is less complicated. The Baby Swales cheekpiece has shorter shanks than the normal Swales, with less leverage effect as a result. With this cheekpiece, it is best to use two reins. Both the bridle cheekpiece and one of the two reins are attached to the large loose ring. This creates the bradoon effect. The second rein is placed on the lower loose ring creating the Weymouth effect. The greater the leverage effect, the bigger the impact.
