The Hackamore Combi long cheekpiece is a combination of a Hackamore with a bit. This cheekpiece divides the pressure over the mouth and nose. Because of the leverage effect, it gives pressure on the nose and lower jaw as well as in the mouth. The
greater the leverage effect, bigger the impact. The TRUST Hackamore combinations all have an adjustable screw above the mouthpiece. The lower the screw, the more pressure on the nose. The curb strap should be properly adjusted (not loose, not too tight but just right), so that the nosepiece is well-fitted and stays in place. The cheekpiece is attached to the rectangular part.
